Republicans to live Blog Budget Panel Debate
Tuesday, March 4, 2008
A new step for the D.C blogging community will happen tomorrow. It looks like the Republicans will be live blogging the budget panel debate. It all happens at 10:30am EST.
“This is the first time we have done something like this,” said Boehner spokesman Michael Steel. He added that members and staff would begin blogging at 10:30 a.m. EST. Steele also said that the blog, which can be viewed at http://republicanleader.house.gov/blog, might also include video. (The Hill)
More and more people are recognizing that blogs are new way to inform an audience about what is going on. Does anyone know if any of these Congressmen or Senators have twitter accounts? Maybe this is the next step. Tweeting from the floor!
