Metro is adding another 6 car train to the green line for rush hour and baseball game service. It will bring the total green line trains from 19 to 20. Currently during rush hour the green line in the direction of Branch Ave serves about 6,000 people. On game days Metro is predicting about 25,000 fans in that direction. With station repairs, which should be completed before the first game, the platform will be able to handle 15,000 people an hour. I guess we will have to wait and see if it really works! – Examiner
