Single Game Parking

Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Washington Nationals fans can now park closer to the stadium. This means more car traffic on game days. The cost will be $15 in Lot HH, and $20 in Lots W and T. Valet service will also be available in the leased Southeast Metro bus garage for $50. This all goes into effect tomorrow for the next Nationals home stand.

Are people really going to pay $50 to valet their car? The stadium has only been sold out once and that was the home opener. If I pay $50 to valet my car I really don’t want to walk the 2 blocks to the stadium. Are you going to be able to drop your car off at the center field entrance and have someone valet it for you? Isn’t that the who idea of the word Valet? Seems like a bad idea that I guarantee will change half way through the season to an open parking lot at $20. That seams about the right price.
