Many areas around the Metro District are still without power today and that in turn has prompted closures. Yesterday’s storm that came through in the afternoon hours was deadly. At least on person was confirmed dead when a tree that fell on their car. I myself was without Comcast cable and missed the Red Wings win the Stanley Cup! However, I called Comcast and was on the line for about 30mins to get my $5.00 refund for the day. I encourage everyone that was without cable service to do the same.
