Apps for Democracy

Finding information about the District might just get easier in a month or so.  The District of Columbia and iStrategyLabs have teamed up to put on an innovation challenge.  The challenge is to take the massive amounts of data that the city has released and let people use it to make cool and useful applications.  The project is called Apps for Democracy and you can find more information here.  Look for our app to be released early next month.   In the mean time I encourage everyone to sign up and take part.  You never know, you may win some of the $20,000 of prize money that’s up for grabs.
