Monday, October 20, 2008
If you don’t want to wait till November 4th to cast your vote you can walk-in and vote early at the election boards headquarters. Early walk-in voting ends November 3rd.

My husband has to use a walker, standing is not an option for him. Are there any special provisions for handicapped individuals?
You don’t have the address of the election board headquarters clearly written where the viewer can find it. At least I haven’t been able to find it. I want to vote early, but I don’t know where the headquarters is located. Please provide the address. Many thanks, Farah
A simple Google search for “Washington, DC Board of Elections” returns http://www.dcboee.org/. Contact information is here including phone numbers and address http://www.dcboee.org/contactus/
Please make sure your readers know that DC doesn’t allow “early voting” as most people would understand it. Early voting in DC is really casting an absentee ballot. These votes aren’t counted on election night, and may take up to 10 days to be counted. If you’re able to, get out on election day.
