There is nothing more assuring than a promise with a delivery date 10 years from now!  That’s what Verizon has done.  They told DC residents that Verizon FIOS would be installed and working within 10 years.  So stick in there, you only have to deal with Comcast or Direct TV for 10 more years, that’s if you still live in DC by then!
