CVC: Capitol Visitors Center

Monday, December 1, 2008

WTOP has a sneak peak inside the Capitol Visitors Center (CVC) but why not just check it out of yourself.  December 2nd 2008, that’s tomorrow, is the day that the CVC opens to the public.  The project which was supposed to only cost around $128 million has a bill somewhere around $628 million and is years over schedule. The project is finally done and the doors will be open tomorrow at 1:00pm.  After tomorrow the doors will be open at 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Saturday. You can find more information about tickets, tours, and the CVC at the Architect of the Capitol’s website.
