Inauguration: The Day After
Wednesday, January 21, 2009
The crowds where crazy yesterday! Still doesn’t look like there is a true official number but it looks like it could be anywhere from 1.2 – 1.7 million. Hopefully Metro and streets are back to normal and road closures for the most part have been lifted. At least the freeways and bridges are flowing pretty good. From all the reports that I have seen everything went pretty smooth. However, if you are still looking for your lost kid they are at the police station. Go pick them up! Overall, It looks like bars, restaurants, museums and vendor made out pretty big. Now it’s back to work for most DC residents. Here are some departing photos that I took over Monday and Tuesday.
