Today is the day that the DC quarter is released into circulation. The U.S. Mint will release the Duke Ellington quarter today as part of its “50 State Quarters Program.” The quarter features Duke Ellington and the DC motto “Justice For All.” The Quarter does not feature “Taxation without Representation” like more residents wanted. So go to the bank and get your Quarter!
