Parade Interrupted by Heavy Gas Odor

Monday, February 2, 2009

Hopefully everyone got to see most of the Chinese New Year Parade in downtown yesterday. Part of the parade route was shut down due to a heavy order of gas odor coming from a manhole near 6th and H ST NW. No word on what the cause of the smell was but everyone is glad that it wasn’t one of those exploding manhole covers.
