Tuesday, February 17, 2009

So long DC hello Maryland! Victor MacFarlane the owner of DC United made it official in a press conference held yesterday that his MLS team will be moving to Prince George’s County Maryland. The team will no longer talk with District officials on an effort to build a new soccer stadium. DC United will keep it’s name after moving to Maryland and will continue playing at RFK stadium for two more years. The new stadium is expected to be completed in 2012.
