DC Streetcars Coming Back

Thursday, February 26, 2009

Street cars are coming back to the city at least in Southeast. Look for an announcement next week for more details. The first part of the project will cost approximately $25 million with 3 street cars costing $10 million. The last time streetcars ran in DC was in 1962.

Street cars are expected to run 7 days a week from 6 a.m. until midnight and cost about the same as a bus ride.
