Voting Rights or Guns or Maybe Both?

Thursday, February 26, 2009

An amendment put forth on the Senate floor by Nevada’s senator could change the guns laws in DC and help or hurt the DC Voting rights. The amendment would repeal the gun laws set forth by DC and allow for representation in Congress. Gun issues have traction in Congress these days and some say that this amendment may get through. Will this cause more issues? I basically boils down to a vote on the second amendment that may give DC a voice in Congress.
