Or they could charge more for ads. But they should proofread them first. I saw the stupidest ad on the Blue line yesterday. It was for something called eMusic, and it depicted five actors posing as typical subway passengers. On top of each person’s face was superimposed the album cover of the music they were supposedly listening to on headphones. Trouble was, each person was eating or drinking something!
So I guess that means it’s okay to eat and drink on Metro, at least if you’re listening to music. Just go ahead and ignore those annoying warnings. They don’t really mean it.
I’m a fan of bringing alcohol ads to metro. Not a fan of food on the metro becuase it will get really really dirty and then rats and more money to clean all that up. But they need to do something and something quick.
