Apple Store Georgetown

Finally an Apple Store is coming to DC! Georgetown’s architectural review board has passed a store front design after Apple submitted many designs that got rejected. There is no word yet on when the store will open or when construction will start. Apple purchased the building for $13 million and is located at 1229 Wisconsin Ave. NW.

That’s why its hasn’t opened! My sister-in-law was the manager for the old French Connection that used to occupy that space! They cleared out of there going on a year now. I would imagine the board is pretty particular about how the store fronts are managed. Maintaining that Georgetown feel that the tourists love.
