WMATA: Stimulus Check now $200 Million

Thursday, March 12, 2009

Metro is cutting back on its proposed stimulus projects after finding out they wont receive all the money they had hoped for. The railcar testing facility has been axed.

Originally, Metro had come up with a list of stimulus projects costing about $530 million, whittled that down to $325 million and then to $230. Now it’s just more than $200 million.
