Cherry Blossoms: Making DC Beautiful

Monday, March 23, 2009

Cherry Blossoms are getting ready to bloom in DC. Most have buds on them already and some trees have already bloomed. With the warm weather that DC has had in the past couple of weeks peak bloom has been moved up 1 week to April 1st through April 4th.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off March 28 and runs through April 12. You can find more information at http://nationalcherryblossomfestival.org/. Don’t forget to check out the Cherry Blossom web cam!
