The new Fortnite Boot Camp tasks are one of the first things you’ll do in Season 2. In order to make up for the absence of building in Fortnite’s basic mode, you’ll need to brush up on and practise three critical abilities: sprinting, sliding, and mantling.

The unexpected elimination of construction has shifted the focus of Fortnite’s universe to other modes of interaction, such as new battle passes, new locations, and fresh gear. It works for me since I’m terrible at creating, especially when I’m in the thick of a fight.

Now that you know how to run and mantle in Fortnite, you can complete your Boot Camp and begin Season 2 right now.

How do you run in Fortnite?

Regardless of where you fall in the opening round of the new season, you’ll be given your first Boot Camp goal right away. For the keybind to show up on your screen, just sprint for five seconds. If your menu reads “Unbound,” you may modify it by going into your menu and making the necessary adjustments. Following the completion of this task, the mission tracker in your upper-left corner will display the next one.

Boot Camp for Fortnite teaches players to mantle and slide like a pro.

Fortnite’s new mantling mechanic is a terrific way to quickly gain ground and flee the battlefield. If you want to get about the environment and structures rapidly, pressing and holding Space near the ledge you want to climb on is the most important option for construction. If you’re able to reach a section of the ledge, it will be marked in yellow. After running for three seconds, mantle on ledges to complete this portion of the mission.

Sprinting while crouching is all you need to slide in Fortnite scarlet commander, which has been around since the first season of Chapter 3. (CTRL by default). Again, this will appear in the upper left corner of your HUD. Sliding for 20 metres is required to accomplish your Boot Camp tasks (beginning from the top of a medium-sized hill would suffice).

New Assassin’s Creed outfits have been published by Epic for Fortnite to further its goal of becoming a digital Funko-Pop warehouse.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze, from Assassin’s Creed II, and Eivor Varinsdottir, from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will be playable characters in the game starting tomorrow.

You can switch out the hooded or unhooded version of each skin in Fortnite’s Locker, and there are also some fun Assassin’s Creed-themed perks included with each. The Eivor Outfit includes Ezio’s Secret Blade Pickaxe, which can only be gained with the Eivor Outfit’s integrated Assassin’s Strike.

emote. The Raven Clan Pickaxe and Eivor’s Shiled Back Bling, a set of twin handaxes, are included in Eivor’s Outfits. These two items both come with Eivor’s “Viking War Cry” emote, in which she hits her shield with the axe’s head.

Each of these skins will be available tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. ET (12:00 a.m. BST) for a limited time only. Assassin’s Creed skins aren’t released at an unusual hour, but they should have been at 4 a.m. instead, which is when they should have appeared.
